Riverside Cricket Ground, Durham
The home to Durham County Cricket ground, hosts many domestic and international cricket games every year as well as big music events over the summer months. The ground has a capacity of 17,000 seats and is continually expanding, the club approached us to create and install a huge screen, which would act as an electronic scoreboard but also show instant replays from the cricket action on the field. The screen obviously sits outdoors, with no cover over it so had to be able to withstand rain and harsh winters but also be seen in the brightest of sunlight during the cricket season
We really enjoyed working with Smart Visions Screens for our big LED screen, that we had installed for instant replays and as a digital scoreboard for the cricket. The team were a delight to deal with and made the whole process very easy, from the initial planning and installation stage as well as any after sales assistance we needed for the screen.
